Abstract EN

The current research aims at identifying the effect of learners’ styles approach in teaching mathematics to first year preparatory school students on developing planning skills and formulating / Geometeric proof.

to achieve the research objective, the quasi-experimental design with two groups (control, experimental) was used on a random sample of (80) female students during the second semester of the academic year 2021 / 2022.

they are divided randomly where the students of the control group (40 female students) studied according to the usual method, and the experimental group (40 female students) studied according to the learners' styles (audio-visual-kinesthetic).

the research tools of testing the skills of Geometeric proof were applied, before and after, to the two research groups in order to know the differences between the results of the pre and post tests.

results of the research showed that the students of the experimental group, who studied according to learning styles, outperformed the students of the control group, who studied according to the usual method in the test of Geometeric proof skills.

in light of these results, the research recommends the need to include activities suitable for teaching according to learning styles and formulating them in a way that helps to develop Geometeric proof skills.

the research also suggests studying the effect of teaching according to the learning styles approach on the development of Geometeric thinking among preparatory school students.
