The current research aimed to reveal the effectiveness of the behavioral therapy program to reduce stereotyped behavior in improving self-awareness skills for children with autism Disorder, (research sample), and the current research sample consisted of (10) children with autism disorder divided into Two sections (5) males and (5) females, and the researcher used the tools: the scale for estimating stereotypical behavior among children with autism disorder (prepared by the researcher), the Gilliam scale for estimating the degree of autism disorder( prepared by the Mohamed Elsayd AbdelrahmanK, Mona khalifa, 2004) and the scale for estimating the self-awareness of children with autism disorder (prepared by the researcher), and the results of the current research found the effectiveness of the behavioral therapy program in reducing the severity of stereotypical behavior in children with autism disorder (the research sample), which in turn led to an improvement in their self-awareness skills, which are represented in(awareness of emotions - Profound sensory awareness).
