Abstract EN
The study aimed to identify the difficulties of reading comprehension among the sixth grade students in the “My Language” course from the point of view of Arabic language teachers in Al-Baha region.
The study sample consisted of (161) teachers, using the descriptive method.
It includes seven domains (difficulties faced by sixth graders in reading comprehension while studying my language course at the level of superficial (direct) comprehension, difficulties faced by sixth graders in reading comprehension while studying my language course at the level of deductive comprehension, and the difficulties faced by pupils of the sixth grade in reading comprehension.

With an arithmetic mean of (2.05) and a standard deviation of (0.28), the reasons for the difficulties faced by sixth graders in reading comprehension, which are due to the curriculum, came in the first place with an arithmetic mean of (2.08) and a standard deviation of (0.32).
In light of the results, the study recommends that the Ministry of Education take Education through treatment The Ministry of Education deals with the difficulties of reading comprehension among sixth-grade students in my language course, organizing scientific meetings and seminars that address the difficulties facing teachers and work to find solutions for it.
