Abstract EN

The aim of the research is to evaluate science curricula for the preparatory stage in the light of global environmental projects.

The descriptive analytical approach was followed, in which a list of global environmental projects was prepared; In its final form, it included (12) projects, dealing with (45) environmental concepts.

Then, an analytical examination card was prepared in the light of the list of global environmental projects and their conceptual topics, and it was scientifically controlled.

The results indicated a low level of inclusion in the six science books prescribed for preparatory stage students of environmental conceptual topics, where the evaluation relative average of their inclusion was 8.5% , which reflects a significant shortcoming in the level of their inclusion in science curricula for the preparatory stage.

Therefore, a proposed vision was presented to improve the level of inclusion of global educational environmental projects in science curricula.

The research concluded with recommendations for curriculum designers and science teachers and proposed future research.
