Abstract EN
The aim of this paper is to study the various types of analgesic medicinal plants in ancient Egypt, with the identification of the meaning of medicinal plants, the places of their growth in Egypt and the reasons for their therapeutic fame.
It also aims to define pain and its different classifications, as well as what is meant by analgesics and the difference between them and anesthesia, with the identification of the role of the treating physician in determining the cause of pain in different ways and then finding the analgesic for each case.
In addition, the research paper will shed light on the types of analgesics, starting with the head analgesics, which contain several areas that can be a cause of pain such as blood vessels, eyes, nose, ear and teeth, and identify the analgesics for the abdomen, limbs and bones.
Furthermore, it will identify different anti-inflammatories as analgesics, and different wound analgesics used in surgical operations and beyond.
