This research aims to highlight some aspects of social and economic life in Andalusia through the book Al-Rawd Al-Maattar in the news of the countries of Al-Hamiri, in which he talked about some aspects of social construction and human stability in the various regions of Andalusia, Such as houses, baths, hotels, and watery quarters.

Al-Himyari also paid attention to the settlement centers of some Arab and Berber tribes in Andalusia and some of the cities inhabited by Jews, Christians and Magi.

He spoke about the natures, customs and traditions of the inhabitants of some Andalusian cities and deserts.

The study also aims to address the economic aspects, including irrigation, agriculture, soil, and agricultural crops in Andalusia, as well as farmland and orchards, animal husbandry and fishing.

Al-Humairi did not neglect to talk about the forest and mineral wealth and the various industries that some Andalusian regions enjoyed, He also spoke about the flourishing of trade in Andalusia, whether at the internal level in the cities or at the level of trade between those cities.
