Abstract EN

The aim of the research is to develop the skill of pointing among a sample of children with autism disorder, and the research sample consisted of one experimental group of 5 male children with mild autism, ranging in age from (6-8) years at the Ray of Hope Day Care Center in Madinah.

In the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where parity was achieved among the members of the group through the application of the Cars Scale for Childhood Autism, prepared by Schopler, the tenth edition, and the translation and Arabization of Samira Yaqout on the Arab environment (2009), Then a selective training program was applied based on the selection of some applied behavior analysis strategies to develop the signaling skill among children with autism disorder.

There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group after two months of applying the program in favor of the follow-up measurement, which indicates the effectiveness of the selective training program in developing the pointing skill of children wit autism disorder.
