Abstract EN

Irrigation development strategy aims at maximizing water irrigation utilization and activating the role of farmers in water irrigation utilization and management at farm level through the formation of the water association on the same mesqa.

The establishment of these association aims at saving about 10-15% of the water irrigation consumption in the old land and increasing the yield of cultivated crops by 15-20%.

The study aims at estimating the impacts of the farming problems concerning the water user association on the average yield of wheat, rice, berssem and maize in sharkia governorate.

The study collected field primary data from 86 farmers, cultivating the studied crops during the 2017/2018 period.

The mains results of the study can be summarized as follows: (1) the impacts of the administrative, organization, maintenance, institution, water irrigation and technical problems are negative on the yields of the studied crops in selected area.

(2) there are negative statistical relationship among the yield of wheat and each of the problem of editing the minutes of violation of farmers who violate the crop rotation the problem of frequent differences between the members regarding the financial aspects problems of the absence of relationship between the association and supervising in situations.

(3) there are negative statistical relationship among the yield rice and each of the problem of mud accumulation in the P.V.C tube and the problem of lack of guarding for equipment values…………….etc.
