The research aims to study the current production status of the broad bean crop in Egypt and Assiut governorate to determine the most important factors affecting the quantity of production and analysis of the production efficiency and identify the production and marketing problems of the broad bean crop in Assiut Governorate during the agricultural season (2017/2018) The research reached a number of results.

the most important of which were: • The cultivated area and the total production of broad bean yield was overall decreasing and morally significant in Egypt and Assiut governorate.

while the feddanic productivity took a decreasing and insignificant trend in Egypt and Assiut governorate during the period 2003/2017.

• It became clear that Assiut governorate occupies the seventh place in the area and production of municipal beans at the level of the Republic and the first at the tribal level.

• The civilian size of the costs and the size of the maximum profit produced were lower than the average productivity of the sample farmers.

The cost elasticity coefficient at the total sample level was less than the correct one.

The analysis of the cost items for the crop revealed that the third possessive category (three columns or more) The yield of the faba bean reached LE 5939 per feddan.

and its investment profits reached about 0.51%.

while the first holding category (less than acre) achieved the lowest net yield of the faba bean yield of LE 2455 and the profits of the investor reached about 0.21% .

• It was found that the high incidence of Haloc infection and the most important productive problems experienced by the producers of beans.

In finding the results.

it recommends the following: 1- Develop a strong program to solve the problem of hashish Haloc.

2- Expanding the cultivation of the crop with new land and bearing the other crops.

and providing improved seeds with high productivity to fill the food gap.

3- The necessity of working to raise the net yield of the faba bean crop by reducing production costs by providing production requirements at suitable prices through cooperative societies.
