تهتم الدولة بالانتاج الزراعي بشقيه النباتي و الحيواني لتحقيق قدر من الاكتفاء الذاتي من المنتجات الزراعية النباتية و الحيوانية، يمثل قطاع الإنتاج الحيواني أحد المكونات الرئيسية للدخل الزراعي المصري، تنحصر مشكلة البحث في أن الطاقة الإنتاجية من اللحوم الحمراء أصبحت غير قادرة على مواجهة الطاقة الإستهلاكية مما نتج ارتفاع الاسعار المحلية و الاعتماد على الاستيراد في صورة حيوانات حية أو في صورة لحوم مجمدة أو لحوم، مما يمثل ضغطا متزايدا على ميزان المدفوعات، كما ترتب علية ايضا انخفاض نسبة الاكتفاء الذاتي من اللحوم الحمراء من حوالي ۸۲٫۱% في متوسط الفترة (۲۰۰۰-۲۰۰۳) الی ة حوالي 65.6% في متوسط الفترة (٢٠١٣-٢٠١٦)، و يهدف البحث بصفة أساسية الى التعرف على الكفاءة الانتاجية والاستهلاكية للحوم الحمراء في مصر و ذلك من خلال دراسة الوضع الراهن للانتاج الحيواني على المستوى، بالإضافة الى دراسة كفاءة استخدام الموارد الانتاجية بمزارع تسمين الماشية بعينة البحث بمحافظة سوهاج.

Abstract EN

The State is interested in both agricultural production Plant and animal.

the livestock sector is one of the main components of Egypt's agricultural income.

the problem of research is that the production capacity of fresh meat is not able to facing consumer needs.

This caused the rising domestic prices and dependence on external imports on the form of live animals or on the form of frozen meat.

Causing an increased pressure on the balance of payments.

it also reduced the self-sufficiency ratio of fresh meat from about 82.1% during the average period (2000-2003) to about 65.6% during the average period (2013-2016).

The research aims mainly at information efficiency of both production and consumption of fresh meat in Egypt.

by studying the current local status of animal production.

in addition to the study of the efficiency of the use of productive resources in cattle feed farms in the sample of research in Sohag governorate.

The study was based on a random stratified sample of the livestock breeders during the 2016/2017 season for the production of fresh meat from cattle (cattle and buffalo) in Sohag governorate.

where it was choose the largest centers for the production of fresh meat.

The study found the following results: 1- The general trend of the value of fresh meat production in Egypt shows that there is an annual-increase estimated at LE 7.47 billion representing 28.9% of the annual average.

3- Encouraging breeders by providing production requirements with subsidized prices or by installment.

4- Establishing an insurance project exclusive for this field only
