Abstract EN

The present study aimed to utilize the TPACK model framework in developing a framework for the field experiences needed to prepare home economics female teachers.

it reflects on the future of using the proposed framework to support the achievement of qualitative specifications for graduates of the educational program in home economics.

two approaches were used: the descriptive in describing the phenomenon, and analyzing it in terms of its positive and negative aspects, and the reflective in predicting the results of the proposed framework of field experiences.

accordingly, two instruments were developed.

the first was an evaluation sheet for evaluating the field experiences in the current program through a matrix of learning outcomes for the program.

the second was a reflection sheet to contemplate through the proposed framework for field experiences according to the TPACK model.

results of the study included a specification of the state-of-the-art of the field experiences related to the teaching profession provided (currently) by the educational program in home economics at the faculty of home economics at al-Arish university.

the expected effects of applying the framework on the levels of professional performance of the home economics graduates were reported from the point of view of the female students themselves.

the study recommended the adoption of the proposed framework for the field experiences necessary for the teaching profession, by utilizing the TPACK model in the educational program in home economics.
