Abstract EN

The current research aimed to reveal the impact of different intelligent agent patterns in the virtual environment on developing some digital citizenship skills among secondary school students.

and to achieve what the research aimed, the quasi-experimental approach was used to implement the procedures of the research experiment, and to reveal the impact of the different types of intelligent agent in the virtual environment on the development of some digital citizenship skills.

the sample consisted (40) students who were randomly selected and divided them into two experimental groups, the first experimental group (20) students who learned in the virtual environment of the single intelligent agent, and a second experimental group (20) students who learned in the virtual environment of the multiple intelligent agent.

the research sample was selected in random manner from secondary school students of Jerash secondary school for boys, general directorate of education in the governorate of Jerash in the Hashemite kingdom of Jordan, and measurement tools were applied previously to the two groups, and after the completion of the experiment, the measurement tools were also applied afterwards on the two groups.

the research tools were about a digital citizenship scale to measure the impact of intelligent agent patterns (single / multiple) in developing students’ digital citizenship skills.

the results showed that there were statistically significant differences at the level (≤ 0.05) between the average ranks of the scores of the first and second experimental groups according to the digital citizenship scale afterwards, in favor of the second experimental group.

the results concluded that there was a statistically significant difference at the level (≤ 0.05) between the average ranks of the first and second experimental groups in the pre and post application of the digital citizenship scale in favor of the post application, as there was a difference between the average scores in favor of the second group, and the researcher presented a set of recommendations and proposed research.
