Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the university youth point of view on the factors of success in social relations in the Algerian society.

The descriptive analytical method was used in this study.

To achieve the goal of the study, the semi-directed interview was adopted with a nonprobability sample (typical sampling) estimated at 24 university students from the Department of Social Sciences at the University of Arabi Tepsi.

Tebessa, the Allest method was used to analyze the results.

The results of the study showed that there is a conflict in the social ideas that individuals in the Algerian society hold for the factors of achieving success in social relations between the world of semantics and concepts that focus on moral values and the world of practice based on utilitarian values such as the values of power, money and personal relationships.
