Abstract EN

The aim of the research was to identify the relationship between verbal and parental abuse and psychosomatic disorders, and identifying the differences between mother and father when using verbal abuse.

The differences between the levels of the sample on the scale of verbal abuse according to gender variable were based on the descriptive analytical method.

The sample of the research consisted of (350) students , boys and girls, from the seventh and eighth grades.

The researcher used the verbal abuse scale (prepared by Assaily 2011) and the scale of pcycosomatic disorders (preparation of Diop 2011).

The study concluded the following results: 1.

There is a link between verbal abuse and pcycosomatic disorders.

There is a link between verbal abuse and gastrointestinal disturbances.

3.

There is a link between verbal abuse and sleep disorders.

4.

There is a link between verbal abuse and extreme behavioral disorders.

5.

There are differences of statistical sifnificance between mother and father when directing verbal abuse among the members of the research sample in favour of the mother .

There are statistically significant differences between males and females in verbal abuse in the research sample in favor of females
