Contradiction is one of the obstacles before a mujtahid (the reason-oriented jurist) upon extracting an Islamic legal ruling.

This can be eliminated by several methods: weighing that can be featured in multiple forms including the a Fiqhi-based rule.

This paper tries to find the roots for weighing by a Fiqhi-based rule, addressing its nature, rulings, and applications.

The paper consists of four sections: 1) Discussing the Nature of weighing by a Fiqhi-based rule.

2) Exploring the ruling of weighing by Fiqhi-based rule.

3) Conditions of weighing by a Fiqhi-based rule.

4) Areas of weighing by a Fiqhi-based rule.
