The study aims to reveal the representation of the father who has a hearing- impaired child, and to anderstand his perceptions about his child’s disability and his role in follow-up and accompaniment, by following the descriptive exploratory approach through the use and application of the associative network technique of Anna Maria Silvana de Rossa, ten (10) fathers of hearing-impaired children who attended the department of otolaryngology at the university hospital of Tlemcen state participated in this sudy.

the results of the study provided an answer to the research question, and these results showed that the parents considered fatherhood a responsibility towards their children and their families, the results of study reflected the difficulties of parents in helping their hearing impairment children at home, although they expressed their feeling of great sadness because their children were deaf or hearing impairment.
