This study aims to shed light on the professional reality of people with special needs and its impact on their mental health, by addressing the subject of the study in three main axes, in the second axis, it affirmed the right of people with special needs to work, based on laws and legislation formally stipulated by the relevant authorities, then highlighthing the importance of work for people with special needs, as their access to a profession appropriate to their abilities and preparations achieves an acceptable level of mental health for them.

it is the lack of job opportunities available to them, compared to ordinary people, which leads to their unemployment and the impact of this on their psychological compatibility and mental health.

this study is based on the findings of previous studies on this subject, as a simple contribution to paying attention to the marginalization of this important segment of society, and as an attempt to highlight the importance of professional and social integration and its positive reflection on the psychological aspect of the disabled person.

the study concluded with a set of recommendations that are expected to be achieved in the future to create a new reality that helps better integrate people with special needs.
