Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the level of academic immersion and self-regulation among university students, according to the gender variable (male-female), and the relationship between academic immersion and cognitive self-regulation.

The research sample amounted to (400) students from the University of Basra, and the validity and reliability of the two study scales were verified.

The results showed that the university students have a high level of academic immersion and cognitive self-regulation, and there is a positive correlation between academic immersion and self-regulation, and based on the results, the researcher came up with a set of recommendations.
