تتناول هذه الدراسة الاشتقاق اللغوي واللفظي وتاريخ التطور الإصطلاحي لمفهوم الإبستيمولوجيا، وكذا الميادين والدراسات التي تشتغل عليها من خلال البحث عن توفر إمكانيات التفكير الإبستيمولوجي، من أجل تحديدها نظرا للتقاطعات الحاصلة بينها وبين مختلف الميادين المعرفية الأخرى مثل علم المنطق، والميتورولوجيا، ونظرية المعرفة، والفلسفة الوضعية.

This study deals with the linguistic and verbal derivation of the concept of epistemology, as well as the fields and studies it is engaged in by searching for the possibilities of epistemological thinking, in order to identify them because of the intersections between them and other fields of knowledge such as logic, metodology, knowledge theory, ...etc
