This paper will discuss the common civilizational features of the Neolithic period between northern Sudan and Egypt and the distinctive characteristics of the emergence of that period in each of them, which is the emergence of permanent and semi-permanent human settlements, in addition to the emergence of some distinctive tools for that period, and the role of those sites in Egypt in the emergence of the greatest civilization I knew Humankind, and in Sudan the Neolithic period was characterized by a wide spread throughout the various parts of Sudan, where the Neolithic era in Sudan was known to fairly stable settlements that exploited the stable economy and made pottery.

He faced a number of objections by some, and it is clear that the diversity of the Stone Age sites in Sudan, especially the Neolithic age in northern Sudan, makes us realize the importance of linking these sites to the discovered sites in Egypt, which highlight common cultural and technical links between them and the sites of northern Sudan, and for more understanding of the Stone Age.
