Most developing countries, including Egypt, face serious challenges in providing national food security at the level of strategic crops, at a time when they suffer from shortfalls in natural resources.

the agricultural potential varies greatly among countries in light of the scarcity of water recourses available for agriculture in Egypt and the huge quantities of wheat and corn that imported to fill the food gap, the interest in the cultivation of quinoa represents an appropriate solution, as quinoa provides a suitable alternative to provide food security.

to overcoming many of the problems facing our beloved Egypt, and the problem of the study is limited to the fact that in light of the severe inability that the state suffers from in meeting the needs of citizens in bridging the wheat gap, in order to preserve its water resources, and its role in the processes of horizontal and vertical expansion of bridging that gap, the centers had research has an active role solving such crises through the emergence and spread of the quinoa crop.
