and that through the emergence and spread of the crop quinoa, therefore, the study aims to identify the most important factors affecting the production and cultivation of the quinoa crop, by studying the economics of production and indicators of economic efficiency.

in the new valley governorate for the 2019 /2020 agricultural season, which numbered about 67 farmers (researched), and the results of the study indicate that the average cost of production requirements reached its maximum in the use of pesticides, where it reached about 1250 pounds / Feddan, then came chemical fertilizers, which amounted to about 1230 pounds /Feddan, and in the third place were municipal fertilizers, which amounted to about 800 pounds / Feddan, and in the fourth and last place were seeds, which amounted to about 180 pounds / Feddan, as for the cost of agricultural service operations, it amounted to about 4000 pounds /acre in harvesting operations, 1600 pounds /acre in slipping and hoeing operations, 900 pounds /acre in irrigation operations, 700 pounds /acre in crop mobilization operations, and then the cost of agriculture, which amounted to about 420 pounds /acre, after that comes the cost of fertilization, which has reached 350 pounds / Feddan.

as for the indicators of technical and economic efficiency of quinoa crop production in the new valley governorate, it was found that the average total return per Feddan amounted to about 38,600 pounds / acre, while the average total costs amounted to 16,530 pounds / Feddan, and therefore the net return amounted to about 22,070 pounds /Feddan.

the profit ability of the spent pound amounted to about 133 piasters / pound.

as for the total return on variable costs, it amounted to 3.08%, and the total costs amounted to 2.33.
