Abstract EN

The research aims at study the impact of the problems facing the broiler producers in different production scales and try to shed light on them and their impact on the total revenue of broiler farms with an attempt to find some solutions that help reduce its negative effects, as their results contribute and help the economic decision makers in formulating policies and programs of the economic and future aspects to raise the efficiency of broiler farms.

the research depends on two main sources of data.

the first one is secondary published data by the ministry of agriculture and land reclamation, economic affairs sector, and the central administration of agricultural economy.

the second one is preliminary field data for a field study through a specially designed questionnaire form that was collected in personal interviews with broiler producers in 2021.

the study used the descriptive and analytical statistical methods to achieve the previous objectives.

as well as the use of the dummy variables model to estimate the impact of the technical, economic and marketing problems facing the broiler farms on the average value of the total revenue per lot in the broiler farms in the three production scales.

the most important results of the research were that when studying the impact of the problems of chicks, feed, veterinary medicines, employment and marketing on total revenue in different capacities, small, medium and large, it was found that there was a significant impact of the problems on the average total revenue in small capacities.

significant for those problems on the average total revenue in large capacities, and the reason may be due to the adoption of modern breeding systems and the use of modern technology in breeding and adoption of efficient marketing development systems, in contrast to small and medium farm capacities.
