Abstract EN

The article deals with the basic orientations of the historical writing in the Islamic Maghreb during the third and fourth centuries AH / 9th and AD 10th centuries.

This stage represents the beginnings of the first episodes of historical thought in the Islamic Maghreb, after the Maghreb mythology re-produced and read its eastern counterpart in previous stages.

The main factors that led to the emergence of historical writing in the Maghreb area, and then to the most important forms and types of these writings to conclude with the translation of the most important work in history during the study period with a brief definition of their writings, A process of analysis of each axis of the article.
