The argumentation that Al-Jahiz has is a mental exercise on the topics of his messages in order to debate with the other, whether this other is present in physical presence or is absent in body and present in thought, belief and doctrine.

The argumentation is a method that divides the epistemological structure of the messages, not only in order to present the truth in which he believes or to refute facts that contradict his thinking, but in order to give the Mu’tazilite affiliation all its legitimacy and all its presence in the public space and at the joints of the Abbasid Caliphate and in all its affiliated institutions such as mosques and dialogue circles.

All this pushes Abu Othman to move rhetoric and argumentation outside the text (Coran, poetry): In the judiciary, and in mosques...

in order to introduce the origins of the Mu'tazila doctrine and also in order to consolidate the Abbasid Caliphate, whose symbols and poles (Al-Mamoun, Al-Mu'tasim, Al-Wathiq) are constantly mentioned in most places, especially when it comes to debate with the other, especially since identification with the philosophy of retirement.

It became the official policy of the Abbasid state for a whole generation (198 H- 238 H).

The argumentation has two faces in the letters of Abu Othman, the first is epistemological, derives its strength from the tools, techniques, and methodologies that came to him through Greek culture and the great effort that accompanied it in translation, and the second is political, placing the same thought and belief at the center of society and the state and in everything that indicates their presence and influence in the social space.
