The research paper attempted to research the origins of the concept of civil society with a focus on the sociological perspective in defining this concept as a group of institutions that allow individuals to gain access to public goods and benefits without government interference or mediation, and thus the primary function of this society if it is not able to reach the stage of cohesion and strong and effective organization.it is to play the mediating role between the individual and the defesless citizen and the strong and absolute sovereign state while highlighting the importance of civil society in human development.
