Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the most prevalent habits of mind among female primary school teachers in public schools in Tafileh, and to examine predictiveness, they have several degrees in the highest degrees of habits of mind in the teaching experience.

The study sample consisted of (214) teachers.

To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher developed two scales, one of them for Habits of Mind, which included fifteen habits, and another for measuring teaching efficiency, and they were applied to the study sample members after verifying their validity and reliability.

The results showed that the percentage of prevalence is high, and the level of measured habits of mind is high, and the results also showed that there are six habits that contributed to explaining (63.4%) of the variance in teaching efficiency, which are: (constant readiness for continuous learning, striving for accuracy, taking responsible risks, and controlling recklessness, finding humor, and reciprocal thinking).

And it was found that there were no differences between the parameters’ estimates on each of the following most prevalent habits of mind: (perseverance, thinking and communicating clearly, impulsive control, questioning and posing problems, thinking flexibly, collecting data using all the senses, listening with understanding and empathy, visualization and innovation, reciprocal thinking, and willingness Permanent continuous learning and taking responsible risks (due to the difference in the variable of experience, while it was found that there are differences between the estimates of the parameters on the habits of (the struggle for accuracy, and the application of past knowledge)The results were found on new situations, thinking about thinking, and finding humor) due to the difference in experience, and the differences were in favor of the experienced female teachers (more than 8 years).
