Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the attitudes of the students of the College of Basic Education in the State of Kuwait towards distance learning, and the impact of some variables on that.

The descriptive approach was used, the sample consisted of (264) male and female students from the College of Basic Education, the data was collected through a questionnaire included (30) phrases distributed over three axes.

The results showed that there are moderately positive attitudes for the students of the College of Basic Education towards distance learning as a whole and all axes.

The students’ attitudes towards the importance of distance learning came in the first order, followed by students’ interaction with distance learning, then fear and anxiety about distance learning.

The results indicated that there were statistically significant differences between the averages of the study sample about the importance of distance learning due to the variables of gender and educational year in favor of males and the third year, and there were no differences about students’ interaction with distance learning, and fear and anxiety about distance learning.

The results also showed that there were differences about students' interaction with distance learning according to the specialization variable in favor of literary, and there were no differences about the importance of distance learning, and fear and anxiety about distance learning.
