The Essay Art has a prominent place in our literary activity , as this art is one of the oldest arts.

The structure of this art was formed only in heart of journalism and press.

The Saudi Arabia Kingdom witnessed a number of writers who had a great role and impact in the renaissance and development of the essay art, including Hassan Ketbi.

Hassan Ketbi is considered one of the pioneers in establishing the essay art in individual journalism.

This generation is an important stage in the structure, formation and establishment of this art in our local newspapers.

This research was concluded according to an appropriate plan.

I started my research with an introduction in which I referred to the outstanding status of Hassan Ketbi and then listed a translation talk about him.

This translation was concerned about his biography that he narrated in his book "That's My Life" (Hathihi Hayaty), interviews at parties and events, some interviews, and my interview with Ketbi's family, his close friends and relatives.

Then I mentioned the definition of essay art and talking about its status and the impact of the Saudi journalism movement on the emergence of this art, and the early relationship of Ketbi with journalism.

Then, I talk about the literary movement and the production of journalism in the field of literature and criticism and its trends and finally the conclusion.
