Abstract EN

The present study aimed to identify test anxiety in the light of some variables for Sudanese university students.

To that end, the descriptive approach was adopted, where a random sample of 513 both male and female Sudanese university students was selected.

Then, a test anxiety scale and primary data form were applied on Sudanese university students, after ensuring their validity and reliability.

Then, the data collected from the study sample were analyzed statistically through a number of statistical equations (including: T-test, ANOVA, regression equation, as well as some descriptive data) using SPSS statistical package.

Key findings of the study are summarized below.

One result revealed a negative statistical relationship between test anxiety and academic achievement among Sudanese university students.

Another result indicated that there was a statistical relationship between test anxiety and age among Sudanese university students.

Also, there were differences in test anxiety attributable to gender among Sudanese university students.

There were no differences in test anxiety attributable to the specialization variable among Sudanese university students, but there were differences in test anxiety attributable to the public/private university variable among Sudanese university students.

There were differences in test anxiety attributable to the variable of the level/grade in which the student is currently studying among Sudanese university students.
