Abstract EN

This study inspects the Gulf Cooperation Council countries interest in the development process through examining the «visions» formulated by each country, and how such visions might unfold or be integrated in light of structural similarities and common economic and security challenges.

The study also sheds light on the Gulf countries efforts to utilize normalization agreements with the Zionist entity in enhancing their own development process.

The study attempts to reveal to what extent normalization impacts the development process in the Gulf region, and whether it is appropriate for these countries to bet on it in hopes of achieving development, all while Israel further securing its presence and influence in the region at the expense of the Arab countries, their stability, future and national security.
