Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the methodology of Ibn Jinni in his luminous book, through which he contributed to the enrichment of Arabic grammar.

The research problem includes Ibn Jinni's approach to issues of grammar and morphology through a specific approach chosen by him in writing his book Al-Lama The method that I will apply in this study is the descriptive and analytical method, whereby I will analyze all that has been written about Ibn Jinni from its implications from the various sources and references available to me.

I reached several results in this study, including He used to deal with important issues that - in his opinion - are more deserving of mention than others, delete everything that is not needed, and present the opinion that is convinced of its correctness only, whether this opinion is from his visual school or from others, and he neglects to mention other opinions.

He mixes morphological issues in his grammatical analyzes, as it appears in the first chapters of his book.

His style is clear, not complicated, and he tends to be simple and far from understated and complex, his concern is to convey the idea to the learner in the shortest way.

He is keen on the accuracy of the phrase, and that the definition is brief, comprehensive and prohibitive, avoiding repetition, and does not mention one issue in another chapter.
