Abstract EN

The Title of this Paper is” The diversification of the Infinitive applies in Arabic Language”.

The objective of this Paper is to highlight one of the Arabic Language privileges concerning its capability of expression due to its multiple infinitives that are radiated from one origin.

The Paper opened its presentation by explaining the concept of the “Infinitive Word”, and the extent of its variance or homomorphism to the verbal Word, and its particularity in the nominal group relevant thereof.

The Paper clarified the forms of this Infinitive diversification radiated from one single origin within the general infinitive, especially in the tri-lettered verb, and in the divers use of the infinitive outside the domain of the General Infinitive whereas we find the Mime-Infinitive, the single turn’s infinitive, the Body shaped Infinitive, and the Artificial Infinitive which contrasting with the other infinitives with respect to its originating from the nominal word, as well as its non-correlation with the significance of the Action.

The Paper concluded that the diversified Infinitives of a same origin may synonym among them in performing the same meaning, but there could be some delicate semantic differences between them delineated by the context of the use thereof.

And that some infinitives have a semantic function and a structural characteristic that help it to occupy sites in the sentences that would never be occupied by any other infinitives.

The Paper recommended avoiding the scattering of the study between Morphology / syntax sciences which indicate the form of the individual words, and the grammar which primarily concerned with inflexion.

Accordingly, it is advised that the study should include those topics together.

Hence, the interpreted or construed infinitive should be studied side by side with the all the other infinitives that always accompanying the linguistic side which scrutinizes the aspects of use and semantic differences between the diversified infinitives.
