The study aimed to reveal the reality of school directors' practices of e-learning quality standards in the intermediate stage in Jeddah governorate.

to achieve the goal of the study, the descriptive analytical method was used by applying a questionnaire as a tool for collecting study data, which consisted of (28) items distributed over four axes : the quality standards of e-learning for the intermediate stage, the practices of school directors for evaluating the performance of female teachers, holding virtual meetings, and communicating with beneficiaries.

where a random sample of (252) individuals was selected from the study population, which included all middle school teachers in southern Jeddah public schools, who numbered (945), for the academic year 2021 / 2022.

and statistical methods and treatments were used to analyze the results, including : Pearson correlation coefficient and cronbach's alpha coefficient to adjust the study tool and to ensure its validity and reliability, percentages to describe the characteristics of the study population and sample, arithmetic mean and standard deviation.

the results showed that the reality of school directors’ practices of e-learning quality standards in the intermediate stage in Jeddah governorate came with a public estimate of 66.36% with a middle response degree, and the fourth axis (school directors’ practices for communicating with beneficiaries) ranked first with a relative weight of 71.15%.

in the second rank, the second axis (the practices of school principals to evaluate the performance of female teachers) came with a relative weight of 66%, and the third axis (the practices of school directors for holding virtual meetings) came in the third rank with a relative weight of 64.25%, the first axis (e-learning quality criteria for the intermediate stage) ranked fourth and last, with a relative weight of 64.02%.

in light of these results, the study recommended the necessity of applying e-learning quality standards by achieving an electronic system that increases interaction between students and teachers, and enables school directors to supervise, follow-up, evaluate and hold meetings through it.

ease of choosing the most widespread electronic means to achieve the greatest degree of communication between the school directors and parents.
