Abstract EN

The present study aimed to identify the availability level of competencies to build and support professional learning communities among teachers of al Dakhiliyah governorate schools in the sultanate of Oman in the light of the Canadian state of nova scotia model , study used a descriptive method, also used the questionnaire to collect data and information were applied to a sample of (82) senior teachers.

the results of the study concluded that the level of availability of competencies to build and support professional learning communities among the teachers of the schools of the Dakhiliyah governorate in the sultanate of Oman in the light of the model of the Canadian state of nova scotia was high in general, and it was also high in the two domains of study, which are knowledge competencies and skill competencies.

the results also revealed that there were no statistically significant differences in the responses of the study sample at the level (α ≤ 0.05) attributed to the variables of scientific qualification and years of experience, while these differences were found in the gender variable and in favor of males..
