Abstract EN

This research aimed to develop the leadership skills of public school principals in the light of digital transformation skills.

to achieve this aim, it used the descriptive approach, and a questionnaire was applied to a sample of (214) government school principals and their assistants in the university.

the most important finding of the current research was : there is great importance for digital transformation in increasing the administrative and self-knowledge of public school principals by refining their abilities and capabilities, providing them with new administrative patterns, and providing the necessary creative climate for participation, development, decision-making, and sustainable professional development.

the researcher recommends : benefiting from the experiences of the world-leading schools in the field of digital schools, taking into consideration the conditions and reality of Jordanian society, and what is appropriate for the customs, values, philosophy, and culture of the community, conducting a continuous review and evaluation process of performance by officials to design deviations in the principals’ performance, providing them with continuous feedback, and carrying out periodic and continuous training courses related to digital transformation and leadership skills, before, during and after recruiting school principals.
