The research revolves around the term mediation in the language and the terminology and characteristics of mediation, and the definition of the state of Kosovo and the most important stages of mediation developments in it ; of its methods and history.

as well as the methods used by people, the past and the present, to resolve their disputes, knowing some of the details of these methods, the impact of customary laws in building a culture of resolving disputes, as well as the influence of Islamic law, the legal adaptation of mediation and the importance of including mediation in the Kosovan legal system.
