تعتبر فرضية الأثير الأرسطية واحد أهم الفرضيات التي أثارت جدلا واسعا في الأوساط العلمية، وبسطت سلطتها لمدة مئات من السنين، وكانت محل جذب ونفور بين العلماء الفيزيائيين، فمنهم من أخذها وجعلها أساسا لقناعاته العلمية ومنهم من نبذها وأنكر وجودها، في الوقت الذي كان ينظر إليه من قبل الفلاسفة اليونانيين على أنه عنصرا مهما يشارك في بنية الكون.
ومن خلال هذه الدراسة توصلنا إلى أن أفلاطون ربط مفهوم الأثير بصورة العالم الطبيعي، بالمقابل تناول أرسطو مفهوم الأثير من خلال مفهوم العالم، ولإنجاز هذا البحث، تم الاعتماد على جملة من الخطوات بهدف توضيح مشكلة البحث والإلمام بجوانبها، والوقوف على أهم المحطات التي تناولها كلا من الفيلسوفين.
Abstract EN
The Aristotelian Ether hypothesis is considered one of the most important hypotheses that aroused widespread controversy in the scientific community, and extended its authority for hundreds of years.
the Greek philosophers considered it an important element involved in the structure of the universe.
in this study we concluded that Plato linked the concept of ether to the image of the natural world, in return Aristotle addressed the concept of ether through the concept of the world.
familiarity with its aspects and standing on the most important points addressed by the philosophers and focusing on them.
