Abstract EN

The current study aimed to know the attitude of students towards private lessons in light of the free education in Algeria.

the study was conducted on a sample of 90 students registered in the intermediate stage of the Cheraga region, west of Algiers.

we chose the descriptive approach for our current study, as we relied on the questionnaire tool consisting of twenty (20) items were applied to our sample, which was chosen randomly.

after statistical treatment, the research resulted in the realization of the hypotheses of our study by recording the following results: students' attitude towards private lessons to improve the quality of academic achievement.

the intensity of the curriculum drives students to private lessons.

private lessons contribute to raising the level of academic achievement of students.
