Our study aims to find out the hidden reasons behind the students’ weakness in the French language, as well as to know the reasons behind the low performance of the teacher in the classroom in this subject.

the impact of the different tendencies and abilities of the students affects the academic achievement in them, and this is because they do not understand the lessons offered by the teacher, the more they understand these lessons, the more there is love for them and therefore the tendency and interest in them, which leads them to academic success and being able to choose the desired specialization in the future.

the pedagogical factors also affect this, including the lack of teacher training, the use of the latest pedagogical methods, the hourly size of them, the intensity of programs, changing the teacher, the use of educational means and modern technologies.

mainly in the difficulty in dealing with students due to their lack of understanding and assimilation well of the French language lessons.
