Abstract EN

This research deals with a phoneme phenomenon of great importance, which is the "hamz" phenomenon, as it is one of the Arab voices around which a great difference arose between ancient and modern scholars.

and browsers of ancient grammar, language, and readings for the ancient people find that they have given this phenomenon great attention.

as for the modernizers, they were more and more careful with the phenomenon of hamz and other audio issues, for their use of the modern linguistic and linguistic lesson, and what was found in the world of acoustics from modern techniques that were applied through careful analysis of sounds and letters.

as for my study, it is of a new and special nature, as it deals with this phenomenon by tracing the development of the concept and significance of the term “hams” and phonemic thinking among Arabs in the poems of Arabs then at grammarians, linguists, ending with the modernizers.
