Abstract EN

The Abbasid era was the era of economic prosperity, however from a social point of view it knew chaos, disorder and life's contradictions that deviated from logic and the usual through life imbalances, social standards disorder and social corruption as lower people were promoted, higher people were lowered and marginalized and less important things were given more importance.

this is what Ibnal-Roumi portrayed to us in his famous poem in which he blamed Abu Sahel bin Nobakht and this is the subject of our study which aims to discover social and class differences which were manifested in the “marginality of the center and centrality of the margin”.

this is based on a modern critical approach, which is cultural criticism, because margin and center are the more rotating terms in criticism and cultural studies.
