This study seeks to study the repetition in traditional songs associated with the craft of Tabsil in the Sultanate of Oman.

to highlight the role of the songs of Tabsil in the psyche of those working in this craft; this is because the traditional songs are one of the pillars of the culture in which the word and the melody harmonize to express the pain and hopes.

the study adopted the textual linguistic method that emphasizes the significance of the words carried by the lyrical texts of the traditional songs accompanying the craft of Tabsil.

the study came out with a very important result which is the nature of the work of Tabsil requires courage and speed, and the human being by nature does not accept to receive the order to work directly; therefore, popular songs facilitated the repetition of order verbs leads to accepting orders with ease , and encouraging the worker to work without distress.
