The Arabic language is replete with signs, inscriptions, and many signs that are multifunctional.

the stop signs and punctuation are classified among these signs, and they can be defined as signs placed within the sentence; or at the end of a sentence, the purpose of these signs is to organize the sentences as you write; to facilitate comprehension when reading, and to increase the speed of comprehension while reading any text, in addition to helping to deliver a text to the reader, the text that is taken care of with punctuation marks is clear to the readers.

the punctuation marks in the Arabic language are eleven signs, which are: the comma, the semicolon, the period, the colon, the question mark, the emotion and affection mark, the objection mark, the text mark, the square brackets, the ellipsis mark, and the analogous mark, and each of these signs has a function to perform.

in this article, we will show the most important of these signs and their use in scientific research and even where they are.
