لقد استأثر نقد الفلسفة بحيز هام في تاريخ الفلسفة و لاسيما مبحث الميتافيزيقا في المدرسة الأشعرية.
كتاب اللباب للمكلاني لا لا يخلو من أصالة و قيمة مضافة تتمثل في استمرارية الرشدية داخل المدرسة الاشعرية مع المكلاتي العديد من النصوص الرشيدية دون ذكر صاحبها.

The critique of philosophy takes a huge place in the history of philosophy.
The book Lubāb Al ‘uqūl Fī al-raddi ‘alā al- falāsifa Fī ‘ilm al-ușūl of al-Maklātī marks its originality in the theological and philosophical investigations.
It reproduces many texts of Averroes.

Le livre Lubāb Al ‘uqūl Fī al-raddi ‘alā alfalāsifa Fī ‘ilm al-ușūl d’al-Maklātī marque son originalité dans la recherche théologique et les études philosophiques, en soulignant la reproduction des textes d’Averroès
