Abstract EN

This study introduces the reality of the Libyan universities.

it aims to present suggested educational ways to activate the role of public libyan universities in developing awareness of heritage and renewal among students in light of the today’s challenges.

to achieve the objectives of the study, the theoretical and analytical approaches are used; the study is divided into three sections.

the results of the study showed that universities have a fundamental and pivotal role in developing awareness of heritage and renewal in light of the today’s challenges, and that there are shortcomings in the role of the libyan universities in developing awareness of heritage and renewal among students in light of the today’s challenges.

the results also showed the existence of huge challenges posing threats and hurdles against the libyan universities, forcing them to integrate and respond to them.

in light of these results, a set of appropriate ways is provided to activate the role of universities in developing awareness of heritage and renewal in light of the today’s challenges.
