Maritime transport is one of the most important forms of transport for the world trade, since it contributes most of the latter.

And thanks to the important and vital role they play in the maritime transport chain, seaports constitute the strong link between land transport and maritime transport, and without them, trade would be inconceivable.

The subject of our study will be focused on a particular aspect in relation to the efficacy of the application of electronic commerce to maritime transport activities, given that electronic commerce is an integrated system for transactions carried out through modern technologies brought by the information revolution.
