Abstract EN

This research paper raises the issue of the methodology in "Metacritic" from the basis that determining the procedural steps and controlling the terminological apparatus to approach critical discourse is a necessary condition for achieving a practical and objective practice.

Through our review of the theoretical, applied and academic metacritic achievement, we noticed that this issue is problematic, especially since criticising the criticism is a young field of knowledge that remains In the establishment stage among Arand the West alike, some researchers are still doing analytical readings that are not systematic, and this does not prevent the existence of Arab efforts that presented a systematic vision and suggested procedural steps.

This research sought to approach these studies to uncover the various trends of the Arab metacritic discourse in terms of adherence to the approach.
