The current research aims to reveal the differences between male and female students in positive thinking.

Then reveal the predictive ability of personality forces (creative style, cognitive curiosity, open-mindedness, love of learning, foresight, courage, honesty or integrity, vitality, love, compassion, social intelligence, citizenship, fairness, leadership skills, tolerance, humility, and patience, self-regulation, appreciation of beauty and virtuosity, gratitude, hope, humor, humor, and spiritual elevation) with positive thinking among the study sample.

To achieve this goal, the researcher used the descriptive approach.

The research sample consisted of (370) university students; By (170) male students and (200) female students, the ages of the research sample ranged between (18: 23) years and those who live in urban areas (Bani Suef city).

The researcher also took into account the homogeneity of all sample members.

The results of the research indicated that there were significant differences between male and female students in the direction of female students' superiority in positive thinking, as it was shown with regard to the predictive ability of personal strengths in positive thinking that for the sample of students; The foresight variable was the most contributory variable in predicting positive thinking, as it could explain (44.8% ) of the variation in positive thinking degrees, and the honesty or integrity variable was the second most powerful predictor of positive thinking, as it explained (41.7% ) of the variation in positive thinking.

The variables (love of learning, hope, gratitude, cognitive curiosity, humor and sense of fun) were significant in explaining the variation in positive thinking degrees, as they could explain the variation in positive thinking at rates (39.2% ), (36.2% ), and (33% ), and (27.3% ), and (19.2% ), respectively.

As for the rest of the research variables, their contribution was insignificant.

As for the sample of female students; The citizenship variable was the most contributing variable to positive thinking among the female sample, as it explains (38% ) of the variation in positive thinking degrees.

As for the variables (citizenship, honesty or integrity, open-mindedness), their contribution to explaining the variation in positive thinking degrees was (38).

% , (32.6% ), and (23.3% ), respectively.

As for the rest of the research variables, their contribution was insignificant.
