Abstract EN

The aim of the current research is to identify the effect of the difference in the density of visual cues (single, dual, and triple) in the learning content provided via e-learning platforms in acquisition scientific concepts in the “Expert Systems” course for students of the fourth year in the Computer Teacher Preparation Division, Faculty of Specific Education - Port Said University, The research sample consisted of (93) students randomly distributed over three experimental groups of (31) students in each group.

The first group studied the learning content with single visual cues (underlined), and the second group studied the learning content with binary visual cues (underlined + color shading), and the third group studied the learning content with triple visual cues (underlined + color shading + change text color).

The researcher used Zoom platform (for synchronous learning) to deliver the lecture using learning content (presentations) with one, two and three visual cues.

She also used the Google Classroom application (for asynchronous learning) to provide the learning content after the lecture in the form of PDF files, The results of the research found that there were statistically significant differences at the level (0.05) between the mean scores of the students of the three experimental groups increased in the post-measurement of the achievement test related to the scientific concepts of the "Expert Systems" course, in favor of the second experimental group that studied the learning content with binary visual cues (underlined + color shading).
