Abstract EN
Living with several people, in a shared apartment, is at the same time sharing, at least in part, the pleasant moments of the good news and those, ritualized, of the meal or the shopping, and the more difficult moments-that of the tragedies or, more simply, that of off-putting tasks and drudgery.
but also, the maintenance of a certain distance or a non-commitment, because it does not involve an affective dimension, and does not have any consequences, since the other is an ephemeral group in relation to family relations) (Fisher, 2011).
in shared accommodation, the intimate territory becomes fragile, revealed, shared, between challenge and withdrawal into oneself, interference and withdrawal, the student will have to revise downwards his presentation of private space and intimate territory, because he It is obvious that that of others can only be grasped by a serious effort of mental stripping (Pastinellin 2005).
this communication looks back on the lived experience of university life (accommodation: university campus, shared accommodation, etc.) by questioning the psychological mechanisms likely to explain the difficulties of the perception of the intimate and the management of the private space and its possible repercussions on their university life.
the work of the students S4 études sociologiques (environmental psychology), constitutes a good part of the material exploited, made up of ten surveys in the field, the collected data carry the perception of the private, the intimate and the collective in a student roommate.
